I design and build networking systems, cloud infrastructure, embedded solutions, and software applications. Recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
As part of the Colorado Space Grant High-Altitude Balloon payload project, I designed an Arduino shield PCB prototype and contributed to full-cycle system development — from integrating COTS sensors and validating hardware functionality, to supporting software development for sensor data acquisition and flight-ready operation. I played an active role in system testing, debugging, and hardware integration, ensuring the shield platform met mission requirements. Throughout the project, I communicated technical design decisions, testing results, and radiation protection recommendations through formal reports and presentations.
As part of a collaborative team project, I helped build a full-stack forum web application using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Docker. I developed Express.js backend routes handling authentication, board and post creation, and protected page access, while integrating PostgreSQL with relational queries to manage users, discussion boards, posts, and comments. The application featured secure login functionality through bcrypt password hashing and session-based authentication, and was fully containerized using Docker Compose with Node.js and PostgreSQL services.
For the Golden Arduino PCB Design Project, I designed a custom Arduino-compatible PCB in Altium Designer with USB programming support and Uno R3 shield compatibility. I optimized the PCB layout to minimize signal noise through strategic use of decoupling capacitors, shorter traces, and improved component placement, while integrating test points, indicator LEDs, power regulation, and USB-to-UART communication circuitry. To validate the design, I performed oscilloscope-based signal integrity and power noise analysis, benchmarking the board's performance against a commercial Arduino.
